- Wi-Fi: Yes (the barista will give you a wi-fi password upon purchase that is good for 2 hours)
- The coffee: British undertones take over here, with the true art of coffee coulture coming through. With drinks like the 'Iced Toddy' (i.e. iced coffee) and Flat Whites, each and every drink is brewed to perfection with local beans. French press and pourover styles are available, each perfectly putting forth full body flavor.
- The staff: In line with a perfectly represented hipster scene, the baristas are very much connected to the art of the coffee culture. Focused more on the coffee than anything else, they are passionate and focused on what you want. In being so open to sharing information on any of their drinks to help you reach the perfect decision, and quite friendly, you won't walk away without a decently surprised smile on your face.
- The atmosphere: Quaintly unique is the best phrase to sum up what comes to mind when describing Epicenter. With a darling garden setting with outdoor seating in front, to the unassociated accent pieces of artwork inside, and the industrial floor setting with tables scattered throughout, it is a very cozy and inviting place. There is also bar window seating in the front which makes a great nook for people watching.
- Price point: $2.75 - $4 (for coffee drinks)
- Other: They offer a full menu of breakfast and lunch items- all made in house. Their treats are brought in from local vendors daily, but all are delicious and locally sourced, so fresh upon order as well. An array of wines and craft beers are also available and they have a great happy hour Monday - Friday from 4pm - 6pm with $1 off glass of wine or beer, $4 off bottle of wine.
- What I'd recommend to a friend: Great for grabbing your laptop and working there for a few hours on a weekend day. You can have breakfast outside with a perfect cup of coffee and then make your way inside to work for a few hours before topping off the day with a pint.
